Wall Demo Before and After

We are officially redoing the kitchen.  This is a FULL remodel.  We bought the house as a fixer-upper and got a good price because of that.  The kitchen was the worst room in the house, and we have put up with it for a year and a half and now we are ready to do it.  We’re about halfway through the preliminary stage, which includes demo of the wall between the kitchen and dining room, demo of the other walls down to the studs, and then the plumbing and electrical rough-ins (which happen this week!).

We expect to finish by the end of March.  Until then, we are staying with my parents out in Goochland County so the baby can be far from the construction mess and noise (and so we can have a working kitchen during this period).
