Free Photo Editing Resource

I used pixlr.com to simply layer my logo on top of my headshot. Very simple and straightforward layering task.

If you’re like me, then you know enough about photo editing to use basic programs like iPhoto but other big programs like Photoshop scare the begeebees out of you.  You see, I want the versatility that Photoshop provides with the ease of use that iPhoto provides.  Plus, I don’t need 98% of the bells and whistles that Photoshop has.  I just want to layer a few layers of images on top of one another.

I just stumbled upon a free online photo editor that helps me in my predicament.  It is called pixlr.com and you can select a photo from your hard drive and edit it online without any registration.  Though I didn’t use most of the features, it looks like there are plenty of bells on this one (plenty for me, at least).  Then you can save your final product back to your hard drive (or send it elsewhere).

Check it out here and have fun!
