The Best of 2013

One family tradition that we have recently started is a simple dinner time question: “What was your favorite part of the day?” Kezzie loves to both ask and answer this question. It makes for a fun time to recap the day’s events and talk about the things we value in life.

I thought I would share here my favorite parts of 2013, one month at a time. Here they are:

January – Visiting and juggling in Port-au-Prince, Haiti with my friend and missionary Scott Salvant at New Hope Haiti Mission.

February – Putting out the newest promo videos with Joey Schihl.

March – Spending Easter week with family in Denver, CO.

April – Celebrating Sarah’s 33rd birthday at The Blue Goat.

May – Going to Israel and Palestine with my family.

June – Speaking to over a thousand kids per week at Mt. Lebanon Camp in Dallas, TX (a highlight of my summer each year).

July – Speaking at Life Church in Concord, CA. I love connecting with my friend and pastor Mike Nortune in ministry.

August – Doing a fun local show at the Henrico Theater in Henrico, VA for area daycares and families.

September – Spending a long weekend in Jacksonville, FL and St. Simon’s Island, GA with family to speak at a conference and celebrate my birthday and Kezzie’s birthday.

October – Joining with some close friends of ours for their baptism and christening ceremony.

November – Family day-trip to Washington DC to see the National Gallery of Art.

December – Going to see The Nutcraker ballet at Richmond’s CenterStage with family.
