The Power of GlowMan

Last summer, I used a costume that I brought out several times at various kid’s camps.  It turned out to be one of the best “bang for buck” resources I have ever purchased.  Its called a GlowMan costume.  And for just 50 bucks, it gets you a suit that is easy to use, runs on double-a batteries, and something the kids LOVE to see.

I used it for the summer camp theme “Glow (Go Light Our World),” as we taught the kids about shining the light of Christ in this dark world.  The kids couldn’t wait to see GlowMan come out each night and do his thing.  I juggled lit objects.  But don’t worry, juggling is not required.  You can run around in it, dance in it, make it blink on and off (strobe style), and all sorts of other things.

If you’re doing anything with light (thematically or otherwise), you should definitely check this thing out.  There are men’s and women’s glow stick figures, and I’ve even seen some child sizes.  Here’s the link on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Glowman-Costumes-GlowMan-Adult-Costume/dp/B003LX5KTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336958364&sr=8-1

They didn’t pay me to say this.  I just like it so much and want to pass on the tip……
